Take a break from the real life day to enjoy a little prim brunch & chat at the Lush Lounge. How’s your day been so far? Are we doing good or wishing it was Friday? Grab a prim snack & tell us about it.

SLA Meeting – “Our Favorite Things” – 5pm SLT (Mature) Saturday 1/16

Last week we discussed why were on Second Life. This week we’ll drink A LOT & discuss our favorite things to do on Second Life. Don’t be shy. Whatever you love to do on SL we want do discuss it. You bring the RL drinks & your chatty self. We’ll provide the prim liquor & the conversation.

(The SLA meetings are open to ANYONE! We explore SL with drinks in hand. Feel free to grab a few drinks of your own & join any of our meetings for some intelligent, yet slurred, chat. To learn more about the SLA please check them out HERE.)

Lush Lounge Rules

I keep the upstairs rooms in the main house locked. It is mentioned in the land rules. Don’t go into them. They are locked because they are personal quarters of those that are actually residents (myself as well as my co-owner, family, & friends who are all a part of running the show). Today I watched a couple try the doors many times then use “the trick” to getting into locked doors. Then they go ahead and get naked & attempt virtual sex on a PG bed. This makes me laugh. A lot. A for Effort I guess. Usually I reserve my rants for the SLA Review Blog but it was fitting on here because it effects the lounge. So…with that being said I shall post the rules of the Lounge. (I’ve written many B&E rants in the past. I think I’ll write another one for the SLA.)

THE RULES!!
Please read. We reserve the right to boot you for not following the rules. Don’t worry. They aren’t that bad.

1. NO Sex. It’s that simple. We are here for intelligent chat. Same goes for nudity. Keep yer clothes on folks.

2. NO Guns/weapons/bombs/things that hurt others or go boom!

3. Language is fine. A few of the people who own The Lush Lounge have potty mouths. Ok..all of us. (Especially at SLA meetings..believe me lol)  As long as it’s in good taste & does not hurt others. Be nice.

4. BE POLITE! It’s our biggest rule. Think of it as visiting someone elses home. You wouldn’t run naked through their halls, be rude to the owners/staff. I’m big on manners. Please use them.

5. There are three rooms upstairs that are off limits. Those are my personal quarters. Please do not enter them. There is, however, a 2 person couch upstairs near the stairs. Feel free to use it if you want some alone time or 1 on 1 chat with anyone.

6. We are MAJORLY furry, neko, tiny, dragon, anything friendly. The Lush Lounge believes in SL creativity & freedom. Do NOT harrass anyone that is not like you. Everyone is welcome!

7. No soliciting! No advertising! No prostitution! Use common sense!

We are canceling this weeks morning coffee chats do to being RL sick. Next week we are going to try something a little different. Instead of morning coffee chats we will be having either Brunch or SL Lunches. (Plus side…I can sleep in if I stay up too late the day before. Hehe.)

Friday 5pm SLT – It’s Friday…Let’s Complain About Work Discussion (Mature)

It’s FRIDAY! Let’s let our hair down, have WAY too much to drink, & bitch about work. We’ll provide the prim alcohol & the place to hang out. You provide the RL booze & your fun conversation. (Brought to you by the SLA. This is a mature discussion as there will be many of us drinking & well on our way to getting drunk. Language & goofy humor accepted. Manners a MUST!)

Tonight’s SLA Meeting we shall do many shots & discuss exactly why were are here on Second Life. What we’ve wanted out of the virtual world, what we’ve done, what we want to do, & more. Anyone is welcome to attend an SLA meeting. This is a mature event due to the fact that “SLA” stands for Second Life Alcoholics (we drink while exploring Second Life) Please be prepared to basically listen to drunk people get silly on SL. New Years has come & gone. We marched into 2010 with hopes that these ten years don’t stink like the last. This evenings discussion will involve looking into 2010, looking at the past 10 years, making up silly resolutions, & drinking A LOT! Grab a real life shot or 10, some beers, & join us for a bit of drunken discussion & prim alcohol.
