Lounge News Of The Week

Due to the SLA Review needing larger office space & a broadcast studio the lounge has combined with them. We are still at the same location but the lounge & cafe can be found on the upper floors of the building. We shall still do discussion groups (combined with SL Alcoholics related events/broadcasts). If you are interested in hosting your own discussion then please feel free to email me (slalcoholics@yahoo.com) or send me a notecard in-world (Cerulean Capalini). I am more then willing to put things up on the events calender & help you with a place to hold your meetings/discussions.

Bringing the real life cocktail party to Second Life. Prim food, drinks, & chat. Dress the part or come as you are. Bring your real life drinks (We are!!) & bring a little drunken class to your Saturday night. Intelligent, yet drunken, cocktail chatter without someone sticking their fingers in the veggie dip. Everyone is always welcome!

We have remodeled “The Lush Lounge” to give off a vibe of hidden gin joint/speakeasy inside of a fake business front called “Lush Industries” (Prohibition be damned!!) We have added a few new things to do with your time while you are hanging out in the lounge. In addition to the Speakeasy (bar) & discussion/lounge area we have also added a rooftop restaurant for a quiet meal for two. (Sit on the place settings to make the food appear). There is also a small seating area for two for private chats. You will be surprised at the neato, spiffy, inhebirated changes we have made to make the lounge fun for all of us drinkers of SL.

We’ve Moved

After much discussion with everyone involved with the lounge we have decided to completely redecorate everything & move to the sky. Why? Because we wanted something that felt a little more cozy & comfortable for people to feel free to sit & chat. Still the same discussions on the same land. Just moved.

Trying something a tad bit new this week. New to Second Life & have some questions? Have answers for others? Do you want to get really drunk & ask the questions of life? Or are you feeling a bit “I think I know what life is”? This week is all about friendships & helping others. It’s also an excuse to drink MASSIVE Quantities of Liquor while on Second Life. You bring the real booze & yourself. We’ll supply the prim munchies & the place.

Due To Weather: Two Discussions This Week

Due to another week of bad weather we are only having our Mature discussions this week. Next week is looking to be our first non-snow emergency in weeks. So all brunch discussion (as well as a few new discussions I have been planning for quite some time) will resume then.

Since Sunday is Valentine’s Day let’s get drunk & discuss love. For the in love, the single, the angry, or the love stinks crowd…Let’s just get drink & tell stupid stories involving love (or lack of love). You bring yourself & some real life drinks. Storm Week Events List

This week we’ve had to skip all brunch discussions due to weather issues. We were just blasted with over a foot of snow this past weekend. This coming weekend we are expect to get a foot or more of more snow starting Friday. Not a very good thing in a state that doesn’t see snow at all. Also not good in a state that is very ill prepared to handle massive storms like these. We will be keeping our normal Saturday discussion with an * at the end.

SLA Meeting – Saturday Feb. 6th 5pm SLT Hosted by Hera (Mature) Weather & The Great Drunken Bitch

This weeks SLA meeting we will discuss how the past week went, the weather, & just basically complain about stuff while drinking MASSIVE quantities of alcohol. Anyone is open to attend an SLA discussion. For more information click HERE.

*Due to the fact that we are suppose to get another MASSIVE snow storm this weekend we can not promise any of us will have any power. If no host shows up within 10 min of the start of the event then we apologize. We cannot control the weather (would be REALLY awesome if we could) & will make every attempt to get on.

This Weekends Discussions (Jan. 29th & 30th)

There are two discussions planned for this coming weekend. One Friday January 29th at 5pm SLT (Bitch About Work & Drink MATURE). The other is on Saturday January30th at 5pm SLT (We don’t need no stinking topic let’s just drink MATURE).

At this current point in time both discussions are a go. According to the national weather service we are expecting massive amounts of snow. Current calculations are 8-12 inches. This should start around 6pm SLT for us on Friday & end early Sunday morning. We are going to put a sign up informing people that if we are not there it is due to loss of power wait 10 min or come back to see if we regain power. We have our fingers crossed that any of us at the Lush Lounge will not lose power (We all live in the same area in the country. Never know what will happen with the power during a storm). Just letting everyone know that we’re not slacking if we are late or a no show. Can’t control the weather (Would be awesome).
